Experience a Farm Stay In Cameron Highlands

In Cameron Highlands, you have a wide choice of types of accommodation. Typically you can choose to stay in a hotel in one of the towns like Tanah Rata or Brinchang or you can rent one of the many apartments and bungalows to stay in.

However, another interesting alternative is to experience a farm stay. One of the popular place that you can experience this is at Mr.Ng Ching Chau’s farm, which is very conveniently located near the popular Kea Farm Market Place.

Ng Farm Stay has 4 double-bed type units, which can accommodate 4 adults on two double beds per room, and 3  rooms with one double bed and one single bed each .

The rooms are simply furnished, clean and each has an attached bathroom.  There is an electric kettle for you to boil water and make your own coffee or tea .

You can also do your own simple “steamboat” dinner right outside your room [NOTE: Cooking appliance and utensils and food are not included. Guests are expected to clean up the premises after cooking]. With the cool weather, it can be real fun! Right outside the rooms is Mr.Ng’s working vegetable farm. Depending on what he is planting at the time of visit, you may be able to buy fresh cabbages, leeks, tomatoes and many other varieties of fruits and vegetables and the fun thing is he may also allow you to pick and harvest the vegetables yourself.

The famous Kea Farm market is just 3 minutes walk from Mr. Ng’s Farm. Also  within 15 minutes walk from the farm, there are numerous restaurants where you can enjoy Muslim and Non-Muslim food including of course Cameron Highlands’ famous steamboat.
