If you do a farm stay around Kea Farm Village or if you stay at the Copthorne Hotel at Kea Farm, then you must not miss visiting the Kea Farm Market Place where they sell all kinds of local produce like many varieties of fruits and vegetables.
The market stalls starts selling theirs goods from around 7 a.m. until around 6 p.m. Some of the local produce that visitors usually like to try are our local corn or maize , the sweet potatoes which are steamed or deep fried and of course our Cameron Highland strawberries which are actually not very sweet. Local vegetables include cauliflower, cabbages and tomatoes.
If you visit the market during the weekends or public holidays then be prepared to see the small street being crowded with tourists and jammed with cars and buses. Nonetheless this is definitely one of the places that you should not miss to visit when you are in Cameron Highlands.
