During our stay in Hobart, we made a day trip to the Mt. Fields National Park which is about an hour drive from Hobart. In order to enjoy walking to the few waterfalls within the park as well as the doing the Tall Trees walk you should allow yourself at least three hours or more to really expernece the beauty that the park has to offer. Being late autumn, the weather was also just perfect for us to enjoy a lunch before we commenced our walk in the park and then enjoying our afternoon teatime too.
It is indeed very refreshing to take an unhurried walk in the National Park and take the time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Hearing the sound of the cascading waterfall is truly relaxing.
